My name is Harvey Trautenberg. I took
this photo of a Royal Poinciana tree in Miami Florida on Saturday, June 3,
2000. These trees were planted in the Miami area, anually, by small school
children in the 1940's during what was called the Royal Poinciana
Festival. These trees are prolific in the Miami area and bloom during the
early part of June.
Not a great photo but a way to share the beauty I see every day with
others.
The photo was taken on Royal Gold 200 with a G2 and a 28mm Biogon I
purchased in February. I worked with Yoshi Okomoto who was President
Johnson's White House photographer. I worked under him at Time-Life in the
early 1970's. Please feel free to use the photo. I will submit other stuff
as time goes on. I prefer B&W work. |

Brotherly Love
My son caught in the act of simultaneously pestering and adoring his
older sister while she experiments with white face makeup. The mirror
reveals her reaction.

Man reading
At the Lindenhof, in Zurich. It's a beautiful terrace over the Limmat
(the river), where people go to relax, read, chat, play chess or simply
watch the city below.
