In The Air

Bird and Lamp
Sunday evening. After having wasted almost one roll of film
photographing uninteresting things in the air, or that could be related to
the theme, I was heading back home, kind of depressed. And met this
gracious bird that was happily singing on the telephone wires.
G1+90mm handheld, exposure unrecorded. Fuji Superia 400. Tricky to
focus, but could be handled.

Black Eyes
I grabbed this shot while I was visiting relatives in Virginia.
Using the G2 with 28mm lens and Kodak Max 400 negative color film. I
shot at 1/60 of a sec at f5.6 in early morning light. It is very simple
but the more I look at it the more I want too. Hope are viewers like it
too.

My neighborhood has always suffered from overhead utility wires. Now
that we are getting wired for cable and high-speed internet connection,
the wires have proliferated, and I've decided to stop avoiding them and
start composing with them.
This is an evening shot, showing wires and a lovely gradient of sky,
with a small branch hanging in space. |
