My name is Pedro Vasconcelos and I am an amateur photographer using Contax G
equipment. I live in Matosinhos, Portugal (near Porto) and I mainly photograph
b&w and develop & print my own photos; I occasionally did some slide
films.
Notre Dame
|
 |
This view from Paris was taken from of
the towers of the Notre-Dame cathedral in the September 1999. Camera was a
G2, lens 28mm, film was Ilford Delta 100. The sky was hazy and the sun
was just outside the picture frame; to ensure bright contrast between the
tower cross and the white sky that part of the image was burned-in during
printing with a grade 5 filter; the bottom part was printed in grade 2 (in
Multigrade V fiber). Printing was full-frame with a black border to
`close' the rather high-key sky. |
Bolhao
|
 |
This scene was taken on the local market
of Bolhao in Porto Portugal (near the city I live in). Camera was a G2,
lens 45mm, film was Ilford Delta 400. During printing the bottom was
burned-in slightly; image was printed full-frame (I tend to compose my
images to use the full 24x36). |
Louvre 1
|
 |
A view of the Louvre from the interior of
the pyramid, also from Sept. 1999. Camera was the G2, lens 28mm, film
Kodak Elite Chrome 100. |
Louvre 2
|
 |
The Louvre from the outside. It was a
rather hot day so many younger visitors were refreshing themselves on the
water fountains. Camera was G2, lens 90mm, film Elite Chrome 100. |
