My last submissions were black and white, sepia toned. I thought I needed a little color in my gallery. All images scanned on a Nikon Coolscan III slide scanner and color corrected in Photoshop 5.5 (which by the way has a great save for web option--makes great, small jpeg files)

This photo was taken hand-held with the 21/2.8 on a G1 around 6:30 pm.  The sun was going down and the sky had that perfect fade from dark blue to light.  The film is what I had in my camera from a construction site visit, (Kodak Max 400), not my favorite for "fine" photography, but in this case adequate.  I was almost right at the base of the tree.  (I just bought this lens and absolutely love it.  Everything written about it is true and then some. The lack of distortion is superb)

These images were taken with the 45/2.0 on a G1 at a local abandoned steel mill (now a museum great place to shoot photos).  Shot on Fuji Provia 400, hand-held.
