Can I contact Contax in my country by email?

Yes. If not your individual country, certainly your region has an email address. See: http://www.kyocera.co.jp/frame/company/global1.html and select your country or region.

Is the Contax response to email questions prompt?

No.

What is done to the G1 when Contax modifies it to use the 21-mm. and 35-mm.lenses?

The turn-out distances for focusing the two lenses are added to the camera’s electronic memory.

My camera is a gray G1 without the green spot. I have to have it modified by Contax to use the 35 mm. and 21 mm. lenses. Will they do it without charge?

If you buy a new, non-gray lens, Contax will modify your G1 without charge.

If you buy a new or used gray lens, Contax may balk.

Does Contax maintain a Users Forum?

No.

Does Contax maintain a web site where I can display my work?

No.

No.

Does Contax publish the MTF performance data for the G lenses at their web site?

No.
